an international music festival inspired by globalism
.Wav Festival is an EDM/House music festival taking place in cities across the world. From June 27-29, it is being held in Tokyo, London, and Paris. The festival features major local artists at each of the shows, providing the audience with a world class music listening experience.
.Wav Festival is named after .wav files, which is the main format for most music files. The brand identity adjusts to the local language and culture of the host city, giving the festival a global stage and audience. The dancing character, which is the main icon of the brand, dances in the shape of a letterform within each of the cities’ wordmark. This specific shape becomes the logo for each of the host cities. The identity is defined by blocky and handdrawn typography which is paired with bold primary colors.
