.Wav fest is a House/Techno music festival that is hosted in cities all across the world. Inspired by the file type “.wav”, the music festival showcases the organic and individualistic nature of house and techno spaces through expressive original typography and primary color palettes. This poster series showcases the .Wav fest shows in Tokyo, Paris, and London form June 27-29th 2025. Each poster displays the information in the language of the host city. Headliners include Charli XCX, Mariya Takeuchi, and Daft Punk. Each city features a dancing figure. This handmade typeface playfully breaks the rule of only using typography through their representation as letterforms themselves.
